Chris D'Alfonso

Chris is a go-to-market strategy and strategic pricing expert with more than 25 years of corporate experience; 10 years of B2B strategy consulting and 15 years of industrial marketing & sales, engineering, and general management (starting his career as an engineer for GE Aerospace in the 1980’s).

Some of Chris’ clients include GE, DuPont, International Paper, Duke Energy, Phelps Dodge, Analog Devices, and Perkin Elmer. The focus of Chris’ work has been on profitable growth strategies in the industrial B2B space. Chris also brings deep expertise in Strategic Pricing and has helped structure major account deals with several industrial corporations around the globe.

Chris’ track record with clients has amassed more than $300m in operating profit improvements. In addition, a significant portion of Chris’ work has involved some form of sales, marketing and pricing training; ranging from project-based learning for commercial teams, to executive seminars, to management training and one-on-one coaching. Before joining EMM as a Partner in 2009, Chris was a Principal with the Monitor Group in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Chris has been a featured speaker at the Professional Pricing Society on the topic: “Commoditization: Taking a Leadership Role in Reversing the Trend.”

Chris holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Boston University.
